Meet Paula: Compassionate Counsellor in Yarrawonga

Hi, I’m Paula, and I’m passionate about helping individuals, families, and couples navigate life’s challenges with compassion and practical support. My journey into counselling began with a personal experience at a young age. It led me into community youth work, and over time, I realised my calling was to help people in a meaningful way, using the tools and techniques I’ve learned through my studies in counselling and behavioural science.
I believe in working collaboratively with each person, tailoring our approach to what best suits their needs. Whether it’s helping someone manage anxiety, address workplace challenges, or build resilience, my approach is always person-centred, strength-based, and aimed at helping people tap into their own unique abilities to overcome obstacles.
Outside of my work, I’m a mum of two, a proud nanna, and a lover of all things food and nature. I have two dogs who keep me active and entertained, and I find peace in swimming in the beautiful Yarrawonga lake. Cooking is a big part of my life, and I’m always experimenting with new recipes to share with my loved ones. I truly believe in the importance of balance and self-care, which is why I’m committed to not only supporting my clients but also finding ways to nurture myself.
Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or simply seeking guidance, I’d be honoured to support you on your journey toward greater well-being.
